Rose-Garden Terrace
Be led through picture-perfect white arbours to the Rose Garden courtyard, the lush-green backdrop to The Ivory’s classic white Georgian facade & open terrace.
Iceberg roses surround a garden of manicured hedges and Wisteria vines which have crept their way up, twirling around the picture-perfect arbours.
This Garden can be used as a beautiful ceremony location, outdoor party spot, or a photo backdrop for your wedding portraits, allowing you to remain in one stunning space for the entirety of your event.
Our team loves assisting you with adding extra styling and floral elements to this outdoor terrace, to create a memorable space your guests will never forget.
FOYER
The striking foyer at The Ivory Elsternwick is perfect for pre-dinner drinks, or as a stand-alone space for private cocktail parties.
Guests arrive through the white arbours and rose garden terrace, through the grand double doors & into the main foyer.
Classically elegant features such as the dark hardwood flooring, crown moulding & baby grand piano are mixed with modern contemporary features such as the centrally-featured modern chandelier & beautiful fluted-timber bar with its copper-rimmed pendants above. An elegant holding ground where guests can enjoy a drink or two before the real festivities kick off.
The large foyer opens into a comfortable seated area that all will adore, which includes a fireplace that provides a central feature and a cosy atmosphere all year round.
Couples Suite & Dressing Room
A personal couples suite with a dressing room, bathroom and fireplace, is a rare luxury and awaits you when you arrive here at The Ivory Elsternwick. We’re all about the little details that add to your day, and this is absolutely one of them!
The couples suite is a comfortable spot for you, your wedding party and/or family to take a breather, have something to eat and drink, touch up your hair and makeup, and most importantly, for you all to recap on the day so far before joining your guests.
It is the perfect place for a quiet moment to yourselves – a space for you to come and go as you please throughout the event. It also features a separate bathroom for you and your wedding party, and a dedicated changing room for those couples who want to surprise guests with a second reception outfit!
