We absolutely love Chelsea & Nick’s story – The Ivory was definitely meant to be for them. Initially considering more of a warehouse/industrial vibe for their wedding, they were exploring one of our other amazing venues Twotonmax. However, after The Ivory was mentioned – it really caught their attention and stood out more and more to them. We couldn’t believe how much the stars had aligned when it turned out that one of their immediate family members had actually had their reception at our venue (under a different name) in the mid 80’s! After coming for the site inspection, they fell in love with the venue and their January 2020 wedding date was officially locked in. This is honestly why we always encourage couples to explore a range of styles for wedding venues, because often, they end up choosing something that they would never have thought of at the beginning!

What we loved about this couple is that they brought their own unique and trendy style to The Ivory. From their gorgeous naked cake decorated with an abundance of colourful florals to the personalised book for guests to write messages that Chelsea & Nick would be able to read on their first wedding anniversary, there were so many sweet touches. This really reflected Chelsea & Nick as a couple.

Chelsea looked absolutely radiant on the day and we loved Nick’s awesome dark green blazer which was amazing for their wedding photos against the lush-green backdrop of our rose garden courtyard! But we knew it was really party time when the blazer came off for Nick to whip out a solo on the drums! This whole wedding was so cool and effortless and we loved that everybody danced the night away to the tunes of the live Super Band.

Congrats C & N, it was such a pleasure to host your lovely celebration!

 

 

Both Nick and I just don’t know how to thank you all enough for such a marvelous job you all did. From first meeting, right through to the BIG day!

You all made Nick and I feel so reassured, so calm and nothing was a big ask. The night just flowed and all of our guests were just amazed! The set out, the service and THE FOOD!!! 🤪🤪 Nick and I knew it was delicious from our tasting night but not one of our guests could fault it nor go home hungry, so a big compliment to the Chef and people were absolutely blown away that especially cocktails would be offered at a wedding!

We really did have the best night a bride and groom could ask for and its a credit to you guys!!

It’s a night to remember for everyone!
